the joystick on mine has malfunctioned to the point i now have to try and lift up on it with my finger nails in order to use it up or down. the features are great, and it is very user friendly. Accessories are limited as well.
Pro : features and user friendly
Con : joystick, and accessories

Very simple for the first time user, but it will only get your feet wet in being Goe savy. I suggest that you spend a little more money and get one of the fancier Magellan models. You'll have more fun, more features, and they are more accurate. Be warned there are people who swear to only Magellan and those who swear only to Garmin. I personally like them both, I just advise to spend some more money to buy something fancier. Happy GeoCaching.
Pro : Good for the first time user
Con : Not very useful
