Overall it is a great product. I was currently using the garmin ique 3600 and it is not even close in reliability to this one. Many more features in the nuvi. Pro : Very easy to use, great size screen, bluetooth is very clear Con : a lot of restaurants are missing from food list
Overall I am satisfied but for a unit this high-end I frankly had higher expectations for its "ease of use". For example, when programming the unit each time for where you are headed, it asks which state you are going to. The unit does not accept state abbreviations; you therefore need to spell out the entire state name before proceeding. This is a waste of time. I really expected greater "pre-recognition" of commonly used names. Also its points of interest which are pre-loaded appear insufficient; major sports arenas are not pre-loaded. I just expected more from a unit so pricey. Pro : Easy to read screen, accurate directions, friendly voice Con : Not easy to use in its destination programming
The touch screen is great and very responsive. The main screen should have a north arrow and should show the MPH that you are driving. A tracking feature would be nice as is done on the Streetpilot 2720. Basically, if it was set up like the Streepilot 2720 with all the other features it would be perfect. The music notes symbol could be replaced with the MPH feature on the main screen. Pro : Very clear to read and program Con : No north arrow, no speed on main menu

just before the 2-year mark the battery stopped holding a charge. Garmin said it will cost $110 to repair, plus shipping.
It still works in my car but is no longer available as a mobile device
Pro : great device
Con : battery failed in 2 years
