I have done it many times and usually find that I am well on my way to my destination and it is too late to turn around. Keep in mind that when these systems first hit the market $1,000 was on the ultra low end.

Technology is only good when it’s useful to people. For those of us who travel long distance often and need to get to places on time.  The GPS navigation systems available today are the most useful tool available and is worth every red cent.
